Yay, beach day!

Hello all

The fight with Tim has officially ended, with him ringing me last night and apologising for calling me a snob. I then felt compelled to apologise for reacting so viciously. Still think that my response was substantiated though, considering he only sms'd me at 11:30pm to tell me where he was, clearly I'd given up on him by then! Anyway, hakuna mattata.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. I'm going to meet the girls (and Pete) at the beach. It's meant to be 32 degrees and sunny. I've been waiting for this day for a looong time. I've been going down to the beach fairly regularly, but you honestly can't beat the company, it makes it all the more fun. I got a message from Jess Banner today to tell me that she's moving to Perth- I'm so excited for her, and I reckon I'll be joining her in a couple of years! GO WEST COAST! Good times.

Anyway, I'd better go and wrap my brother's Xmas present, I got him the Matt Tilly gotcha call CD because those calls really shit me up the wall... and anything that shits me up the wall he really takes a liking for! Plus, he loves the comedy. Alas, I fear now that I'll be hearing WAYY too much of Matt Tilly and my head will be spinning in circles by the time I start my placement on the 3rd of January. Oh well, at least I have someone to blame! Haha.

Have a good one guys.

Oh and by the way, do you know what people do in Thailand if they get boxed in? The boxer-innerer leaves their handbrake off so that the person who's boxed in is able to push their car out of the way! Can you imagine if that system was implemented in Australia? No way Jose. It would be one mad country with a lot of angry folk!

Wassuppp ma homies?!

Well, well, well, we meet again! Who would've thought? Long time no type! Yes, I went to Missy and Ben, and it was one the best concerts I've ever been to. Subsequently I fell in LOVE with beautiful Ben Lee and his eternally happy music. I actually went as far to tell one of the weird guys from Physio that Ben Lee was in fact my boyfriend, and he believed me! I then went on to tell him that I had to go because he had just come over and was setting up his DJ equipment to fuel our post-exam party! What a gullible boy. And everything thinks that I'm bad!! All that we had going was a cocktail night with all the girls (and Stefan) and then went out in the city to Billboards. Was fully sick mate! We were all wearing our awesome cocktail dresses so let's just say that we got a bit of attention from the boys when we were out. Including Chris, who really really really didn't want it! She was wearing the happy birthday headband and was really beating them off with a stick! When we were out we met this guy called Ben who I swear looked like the lead singer from Coldplay, he was very entertaining!!

I finished my exams early in November, so I had the rest of November to chill, do my Level 2 Sports Trainer's certificate (funded by the Yarraville Football Club, thank you very much, $500 later!!), volunteer for a Neuro/Geriatrics conference and enjoyed pissing Mattie off by doing nothing while he had to study all day. Poor boy! Anyways, that was fun, and I arrived back in Warrnambool on the last Saturday in November to attend Laura's 21st. What a night it was. It had been at least 2 weeks since I last had a drink so it felt like 2 years, we hit the Gal for about 45 minutes then ended up back at her place dancing in her living room! It was great!!

Last weekend I went up to Ballarat to visit Laura again and we had the leftover drinks from her 21st, which also turned out to be a great night. My school friends are legends, I've missed them so much when I've been in Melbourne, although while I'm there I don't realise it!

This week I'm going to go for a walk along the beach with Jane and play tennis with Em, Pete and maybe Jane/Hayden. Then it's xmas, where we inevitably are going to the Coates' house for lunch (they have two annoying little boys so I spend my xmas day trying to stop myself from being violent!), and after that (on the 28th) we're heading up to Melbourne to see the Lion King. Then New Years in Melbourne, then I begin my placement in Warrnambool on the 3rd Jan. Will be up in Melbourne for the weekends of the 14th and 28th, as I have 21sts and am going to the Australian Open! Hope to see y'all there!

Can't wait to see all my Physio homies who have been overseas for the past month, they are going to have so many awesome stories to tell me!! Let me know when you get back Terence!!

Love y'all!

wow!

Michael and I at the races

Wow, it seems like i still have readers after all this time! How awesome! Michael sent me a photo of us at race day on Saturday, so check it out!

Got my clinical exam tomorrow worth 10% i think? Not really stressed about it, don't know why. I have one of the coolest supervisors on the planet. Toby. He's seriously awesome. He's so relaxed and fun to be around, he even starts practicing his golf swing in the middle of the gym with a SPS! It's really hilarious. He's 29 but he looks about 22, and reckons he has never had to do a cardio placement or auscultate a chest his whole life (and if he was asked to auscultate he wouldn't have a clue what to listen for!). He isn't that much help in a knowledge-base kind of a way, but he's great company!

Better get to organising my subjective and objective assessments! Woo hoo. Can't wait til I can drink drink drink and partayyyyyyy!

JAC'S BACKKKKKKK

Hi everyone!

How are you all? I bet no one even reads this blog any more because I haven't updated it in so long! I'm sorry! Been busy. Quite very considerably busy! Yesterday I went with Ilks, Stefan, Michael, Rhi and Ash to the Caufield Cup for the first time ever... it was SO much fun! I can't believe how great a time I had. Seriously, horse racing has never really appealed to me- but the day was great, it didn't seem really that much about horse racing, just about dressing up, having a few drinks and basking in the beautiful Spring sunshine! I totally loved it! Tell you what, there were so many people there though.

Every arrived classily, looking totally gorgeous in their frocks and suits- but by the end people were stumbling around barefoot, looking kind of vague, trying to figure out which direction they were supposed to be going in and yelling like hooligans! It was hilarious! They even had those people in gowns from the Carlton Draught ad! It was totally cool! Not to mention the fact that I snuck a drink bottle of goon in despite thorough bag inspections :p. Ahh I'm so nifty... and tight!

Oh my gosh, I wish I could go to the Melbourne Cup! If only it wasn't during exams!

...Although I guess exams aren't stopping me from going to the Missy Higgins and Ben Lee concert that's going to happen on the 31st October (the night before our first exam apparently)! Bring it on BIYUTCH! Yayyyy! Cheers guys and please comment if you actually read this blog! HAHA. Should be interesting.

Love life update

Just thought I'd fill you in on the latest in Jac's soap opera love life... it's now officially on the UP. Proud to say it. Hoo-ray-zuh!

Recent happenings

Well, well, well. What can I say? This blog has kind of been neglected over the past few months- and I reassure my friends that I am still alive and kicking! I'm halfway through my Neuro placement at Sunshine Hospital at the moment, which is going well. I don't really enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Cardio at RMH but you get that, and I'm glad that I'm experiencing this area of Physio now rather than later when I'm graduated. At least I know now what to avoid!

Footy is going well, there are 4 games left of this season and then I'll have my Saturdays back! Should be great... but I'm also going to miss the social side of it all. I've enjoyed being crazy and going out every weekend, but I think it'll be great also to just sit and chill out for a while. Also to catch up with people I haven't seen in donkey's years!

I made a phone cover for my mobile last night. Matt thinks it's crap and that I'm going to change it within a week. I'm going to leave it on for months. I hope that I don't get sick of it... even if I do, I'm going to stay in denial. MUST WIN.

Alright, I have to go to work. It's sunny today so I'm stoked. Perhaps it won't be such a bad day after all. Going out to Trader Bar with Adrian and friends tonight, then out to Billboards a bit later on to meet the footy boys who will be plastered. Hawhaw I love their antics, they're seriously so entertaining.

Love y'all!

goss update

yeah i know i haven't written in this blog in ages, truth is, i have been blogging at another site! but the other site is an absolute secret and contains information that none of you will ever know about me. yes, that's right. it holds my deepest darkest secrets! hawhaw, not really, but you get the picture. so i've been distracted by this newer, more spiffy blog and have neglected to update you all on what has been happening!

i'm into my final week of cardio placement at rmh next week. it's been such a great experience, i really want to keep going with it! but at the same time i can't wait to have a 3 week holiday and then a week of uni, it's going to be slack as! yayyy. my supervisors have been awesome so far, even though heaps of people were saying that leonie was going to be a bitch and make all the girls cry, i found her to be quite nice! you just have to know how to take her i guess. plus, in third year they don't expect as much from us i suppose. fourth year is going to be the real test.

footy is going really well, i'm getting to know all of the guys quite well now. it's great, i can go there and feel comfortable starting up a conversation with anyone there, and i know all of their names now which is awesome. it means that when they all queue up for a rub i can remember who was next and yell out their name. i think they've all got a lot more respect for me as well since i've been working for the club for more than a year now and also since i've been making a huge effort to get to know them all and attend the social functions.

i've met a guy at footy, he's the cutest guy ever. name is chris winks or "winksy". i've always thought he was a cutie but never really considered the option of hooking up with him. then when he showed interest we just hit it off. went on a date with him about 1.5 weeks ago to the movies, i was a bit scared to start off with but when i hang around with him it's all so casual and he makes me feel relaxed. on the other hand, i think he was shitting himself! i think maybe that's why i wasn't so nervous, cos i knew that he would be a lot worse than i would! anyway, since we first kissed on the footy cross-dressing night i've been seeing him a bit, nothing is official by all means but i guess what i'm trying to say is that we have potential. that is, if he becomes more willing to hang out with me when he's not around all his friends. half the times i've kissed him has been in front of his friends, so i'm hoping that'll change!

anyways, that's the goss. going to dane's tonight for a delicious dinner no doubt! yayyy i get to see everyone again! i haven't seen so many collegians in ages, i'm just lazy and so incredibly busy! and i've been preoccupied with footy... oops! heheee

gotta run but i wuv you all! xx

so yeah

It's ok, i'm still alive, just living it up since i'm FREE now! Yeee-harrrr. Finished exams on Friday and haven't had a good night's sleep since, unfortunately! I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning, it's going to be so nice. But this weekend has been so worth it! Went to Dyls' on Friday night, then had a cocktail night with Stefan, Chris, Mattie and Sam, then worked all Saturday...

THEN drove to Bendigo for Carina's 21st, which ended up being a pretty good night. THEN drove back to Melbs again, THEN woke up at 8:00am this morning to drive Pete to Spencer St. Man! I'm a machine! And that's after a week of non-sleep and nonsense! Yeah-ii-yeah!

I can't be bothered writing any more. Sorry Dane! x

Lynda

Check out my cuz from England! Aint she a cutie?

Balls

Guess what the theme for the Physio Ball is? Dress to get lei'd! How funny is that? I think it's extra funny, and quite controversial. I can't wait! But there's still about a month to go, so I'll just have to hang in there!....

Whitley Ball is on this Thursday, should be good to see everyone again all dressed up to the 9s. I can't wait to dance, I haven't had a proper night out in ages so this should be the perfect opportunity. It's also my last day of uni for the semester, and 4 days before my exams but whatever. We have to sacrifice some things, and I'd much rather be partying than couped up in my room studying cerebellar ataxia! As interesting as it is....

Footy cross-dressing night is coming up. Initially I wasn't going to go, but I've decided I'm going now- I'll go shopping in the op-shop on my week off for some footy shorts, socks and jumper. I'm going to take the piss, and it's going to be oh so funny! I'm going to laugh so much at all their attempts to look feminine. Good luck to 'em!

Mark rang me today and asked whether I could try to find another trainer to work with us- so I'll be asking around at uni etc.! It'll be cool having someone from uni there, although I kind of like the fact that this a whole new social circle! Oh well, at least I'll have someone to share taxis with!

SO anyway

SO anyway...

I started football on Monday. Picture this: I drive into the footy ground and start up a few conversations, then Morgs walks past and says hi (which was fine)... he then proceeded to very obviously look me up and down, smile and walk off. It really shitted me. If he was going to check me out he could have at least done it in a subtle way. Welcome to the land of football.

SO anyway...

I walk into the rooms and miraculously Bazza walks in and says "Ohh, I'm feeling so sore from work, do you mind giving me a back rub?" I roll my eyes, give him shit for it and oblige (after all, it's what I'm paid for). I have a few conversations that were good value, it turns out that not all footballers are thugs. Although this is the general rule to go by.

SO anyway...

Then COREY enters the rooms. This is what I was least expecting. After a casual chat, he proceeds to (in front of his mates) try to embarrass me. "Why didn't you call me?" "Been to the beach, hey? Doesn't look like it *compares his arm to mine*..." Farrk he annoyed me. It's like I'm his little object and I'll just collapse at my knees every time he talks to me, regardless of what he says. I guess this sort of arrogance comes hand in hand with a career like modelling.

Lucky I retaliated with a few good comebacks and after about 10 mins we separated with his last words being "bitch!". He's really good with the flattery.

I hate football.

Bec and Lleyton

Y'know what? This whole situation is ridiculous! I'm so disinterested by it now, and feel sorry for them because of all this media attention that they have been receiving. I was listening to Nova yesterday morning when a lady rang up and started comparing Kim Clijsters to Princess Fiona! I think things have gone a bit far with the media (although who's surprised?). What if they are in love? They probably are!

After all, he's just a boy, standing in front of a girl, asking her to love him!

Gamble everything for love, gamble everything
Put it in a place you keep what you need
You can gamble everything for love if you're free
You gotta gamble everything for love

Baby are you cold are you cold baby
I can wrap you up wrap you up in my love
If you wanna you can gamble everything for love
If you wanna you can gamble everything for love

Make a list of things you need leave it empty
Except for number one, write love, gamble everything
Keep it under lock and key
If you wanna you can gamble everything for love

Tell me are you feeling lost in the crowds
In the places that you never knew to get through
Tell me are you going to cry all night
Tell me the truth and I'll tell you the truth
If you gamble everything for love you're gonna be alright
Alright

A story of love, infidelity and beautiful people

A heartfelt story, one read by only a privileged few.

Once upon a time there was a tall, handsome, dirty, lame-joke-telling red-bearded pirate. His name was Roweena. He was a fine man indeed, and inevitably, being such a SNAG meant that he never suffered from a shortage of women.

One day (like many others), a cute, freckly, retarded blonde bombshell fell head over heels for him. Roweena saw a spark in this girl and manipulated her into changing her name to Jiminy, as it was his prime sexual fantasy. She loved him with all her heart and their love blossomed beautifully.

That is, until Roweena had an affair with Gemma, Daneyschka's one and only. Jiminy was absolutely mortified but despite this infidelity prepared to give Roweena a second chance. Things were shambles, but Roweena finally gave in and declared his utmost love for the awkward, skinny but gorgeous girl. He truly believed that Jiminy was the one for him.

Funnily enough, Roweena proceeded to fall for Gemma, against Daneyschka's wishes! They now consider themselves soulmates and Daneyschka has conveniently decided to fall for Jiminy. What a love triangle!

I am now officially a girl of extreme intelligence and upmost sophistication. I also morph to having four eyes when I'm in lectures, driving and in front of the TV. Apparently I've been illegally driving for quite some time now... I must be a fucking good driver considering I haven't had a single accident and have been driving every day! I even drove up to Bendigo and Melbourne in mum's car the other day. Lucky lucky!

I'm heading to Melbourne tomorrow to continue our desperate search for a house and go back to uni. I've never felt so discouraged when thinking about study, I kind of wish I'd deferred! The hols have passed by so damn quickly! Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over my 3 eight o clock starts! Pity me people!

Confession

I don't hate Bec and Lleyton, they are just easy people to pick on, plus I like making fun of all the publicity that they've been receiving. HAR HAR HAR I love it!

My brother Cal is doing his Deb with Laura Ballinger, that's right, Hayds' younger sister! How exciting, they'll be so cute. I'll road trip down from Melbourne to see them FO SHIZ MA NIZ! I'm so proud of ma little boy!

News by the hour

Bec Cartwright was in fact ENGAGED to Beau Brady when she broke it off in December, they had been together for 4 years and the parents are now devastated (who cares about Beau!) She has been claiming that she wore a friendship ring on her engagement finger, whereas Beau's parents claim it was the real deal. What juicy goss, I feel like I should be reading Women's Weekly. Inevitably more updates to come. *Cough*. Won't last *Cough*.

Thirsty Merc

So we've already established the fact
That things are gunna be different in the future baby
And you've reiterated the fact
That you don't want to get into something
That's just gunna have to end later
And I know our lives are changin'
And I've seen it coming for a while too, don't get me wrong
And I've been going out of town baby
It's gunna happen more
We gotta be strong but now

While I'm gone
Just be a fly on the wall
You know, I'm thinking about ya
Just wait and see
You gotta hear what I say
I'm in love with you
I'm not so far away

Someday someday
I will be here babe
Someday someday
I will be the one babe...

I know you gotta go to university
And I'm just trying to make some cash
To follow my dreams
But please don't say we're too busy
To give each other time
And support we need
I know we gotta work our jobs
And make some money to
Get by in this expensive world
Don't let that overtake the fact
That before all that, you're still my girl

While I'm gone
Just be a fly on the wall
You know, I'm talking about ya
Just wait and see
You gotta hear what I say
Im in love with you
I'm not so far away

Someday someday
I will be here babe
Someday someday
I will be the one babe...

I'm in love with you, I'm not so far away...

Fresh blogger

Apparently Jack has a blog? Wadda you know! It's the new COOMEEEEEON!

The OC

This show kicks ass! I admit that it's just another one of those typical stereotypical American dramas, but it's SOMUCHBETTER! They have hot actors (Ryan) and half-hot, funny actors (Seth). They even have some female cheerleading material for the boys! How can one not fall in love with it?

Now for the lowdown on the HOT factor. My preferences over the two boys have changed since last season, where I thought Seth was the sexiest man on the planet, and although Ryan was attractive, he was way too intense and serious. I kind of like the jokers...

But since last night I've decided that Ryan is the biggest babe ever. I can't believe he dated Marissa, the biggest psychopath, emotionally unstable, mixed up girl who is just depressing! He deserves so much better! I hope that they never hook up again, and that Ryan scores the hottest babe on the planet so they can make hot babies. Ahhhhhhh. Maybe I should go into acting.

Australian Open

COME ONNNNNNNNNNNN! I love tennis!

However, despite this love, I must concede that Lleyton Hewitt's recent engagement to Bec Cartwright is somewhat retarded! I guess they are perfectly matched as she is the icon blonde bimbo of Australia and he is the hottest man on the planet (that is, if you chop off his head). Now, my issue with this new development is, and yes, embarrassingly, I've done my research, that Lleyton has just been dumped by his ex-fiance Kim Clijsters 2 months ago. On top of this, Bec is still recovering from a break up with her long-term boyfriend Beau Brady in December.

Alarm bells are ringing...

I am a bit skeptical of this romance, especially when Lleyton proposed hours after losing the Australian Open final against Marat Safin. Is he just trying to divert the spotlight from his heartbreaking loss?

I think so.

The truth about girls

There has never been a short supply of jokes about how hard it is for men to understand women. There is no possible way to explain our dating rituals or random outbursts, but one can only try to give the men some hints.

When a woman says something to you…

50% of the time they don’t mean it AT ALL (they probably mean the opposite).

45% of the time they’ve subtly hinted at their true feelings but others remain (justifiably) oblivious to it- the woman then takes offence to it or becomes disheartened because she gets the impression that the man doesn’t care enough about her to quiz her about what is bothering her.

5% of the time (and this is usually at breaking point), the woman just blurts out a list of things that have been bothering her for the past 6 months in an emotional outburst, rendering the man dumbfounded, flabbergasted and exasperated.

Oh, and if you don’t know where you’re going, admit it and ASK FOR DIRECTIONS! There is nothing more frustrating than a man who refuses to admit he is lost.

Maybe I should write a book. Oh wait, that's been done already... FUCK YEAH! What?!

OK I'll be honest, I just fixed the Whitley link. Can't believe I got it wrong. It's only the most important website in the universe!

Hildas...PFFT!

Nick thinks that Whitley is a lame college. Well well well. Maybe it is. Maybe THEY ALL ARE! Mwahhhhahahaha! He's just happy cos he chose Hilda's and is now surrounded by hotties. Lucky Nick.

If I had a hammer

Oh if I had a hammer
I'd hammer in the morning
I'd hammer in the evening
All over this land *ALL OVER THIS LAND*

And if I found a spider *SPIDER*
I'd smash its legs off *LEGS OFF*
And show my love for my brothers and my sisters
All over this land

The Seanchai (pron. Shan-a-key)

A pretty nice pub that has a bit of an atmosphere, with a few live bands. It grows on you the more visits you make. I’ve decided that the night life here is actually pretty good, especially if you go out with the right people. Saturday was the best night out I’ve had in a looooooong time. I saw so many people unexpectedly and had a good ol’ boogie. I’m so proud of Michael and Tynan. It’s about time!

And no, they’re not gay. That would be pretty funny, and very unexpected.

Scariest thing ever

Far out. The scariest thing happened this weekend. I was totally creeped.

Yolly and I were going to the Co-op and we parked in the back carpark next to a big Agapantha bush for some shade (even though it wasn't that hot). We opened the doors to get out of the car (as you do), and I totally freaked. There, on the door, about 3cm from my face was the ugliest, biggest, scariest Huntsman I have ever seen. Words don't do justice to how scared I was. It gives me the creeps just thinking about it now. I screamed and jumped out of the way, running to the shelter of the other side of the car with darling Yolly.

I'll just take a moment to say how brave Yol was *thoughtful silence*. OK.

She grabbed a stick and flicked the spider into the bushes, then we quickly shut the door. When that sort of thing happens you get really edgy and think that spiders are in the most unlikely places ie. THE CAR! Scarred for life.

It just reminds me of one time when I was in yr 12. Mum was driving me to school and she decided that it was getting a bit bright outside. So she pulled down the visa thing overhead... AND THERE WAS A HUNTSMAN UNDER IT! She totally freaked and we pulled over. Lucky W'bool doesn't have deadly amounts of traffic. We have never been the same since. Waaaaaa! Call me a sook but it was SCARY!

House hunting

OK I'm getting a bit worried about this whole house scenario. I can't wait to move out and to have a house to ourselves, but at the same time I know we have to go hunting for a suitable one that's not too far from uni/college and fits all our criteria. It's a bit stressful, considering Brian's coming back to Melbourne on 26th Jan and my uni starts on 7th Feb. Somewhere in that time we have to find a house, sign a lease and I have to organise for all my stuff (we have to hire a trailor) to get transported to Melbourne. It's not as easy as it seems. Especially when not all houses are ready to move into at the click of our fingers. I hope everything works out OK. If not, I'll be quite stressed out and resign to being a bum on the street. Hey, I have a guitar, I can busk! Har har har.

Events

Event 1:
"Freak wave" kills 5 people in Stingray Bay, Warrnambool. Far out. Been swimming there so many times between the shore and Penguin Island. Went walking along the beach that day and the swell was moderately rough. A lot of the tourists go to that beach because they don't like the swell of Lady Bay and aren't competent swimmers, I guess when they were swept off their feet and washed out to sea they panicked. A rescue helicopter has been buzzing over the ocean for 3 days looking for a missing boy who was washed out to sea during the accident but he hasn't been found and the news has been (understandably) overshadowed by the tsunami disaster.

A couple of years ago one of our friends found a dead scuba-diver on the beach of Penguin Island who had been missing for weeks. It's really scary, it makes me want to avoid the ocean completely because it's so unpredictable and I really don't want to be the one who innocently stumbles across the body. I never thought anything so serious would happen here, it shows that no one's invincible!

Event 2:
Yolly Dolly Golly Wolly is coming to Warrny Scrawny Fawny Yay Way Zay! Very exciting. We can be beach bums together, can't wait to see her again. Yay-zuh! This is a SLIGHTLY happier post, YAYYYYY.

Issues

Issue 1:
I am worried that Adrian has disappeared off the face of the planet.

Issue 2:
I'm already starting to look forward to uni and contemplating reading some references in advance, that's how boring work is at the moment. God help me. My uni hols are in weird spots this semester so I have exams when noone else has them and have hols when everyone else is at uni!

Advantages include being able to bug people at college when they are still in Melbs and at uni and I am freeeee. Disadvantages include having to study when everyone else is partying. Oh well, I'm sure positives will outweigh the negatives fo shiz ma niz!

Issue 3:
Warrnambool radio stations are SHIT, I miss my love song dedications 101.1. I hope Thom is listening to that program where the prisoners dedicate songs to their loved ones in the 'Laide.

Issue 4:
Pink is gross.

Issue 5:
I need another retarded picture.
